- Arbitrage
- Exploiting differences in odds across bookmakers to place bets on all possible outcomes and guarantee a profit.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap system that eliminates the draw outcome and gives a head start or disadvantage to each team, expressed in half or quarter goals.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of deciding how much money to risk on each bet to protect your funds over time.
- Bonus Wagering Requirement
- The amount of betting you must do before withdrawing bonus funds, often expressed as a multiple of the bonus.
- Bookmaker Margin
- The built-in profit margin a bookmaker includes in the odds, making the total payout less than the true odds would suggest.
- Both Teams to Score
- A bet that wins if each team scores at least one goal during the match, regardless of the final result.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle your bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Deposit Limit
- A setting that caps the amount of money you can deposit into your account within a chosen timeframe.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match (win/draw, draw/win, etc.), increasing your chance of winning.
- Dutching
- Splitting your stake across several outcomes in the same event to guarantee a profit regardless of which one wins.
- Expected Value
- A measure of the average amount you can expect to win or lose per bet if you repeat the same bet many times.
- Half-Time Bet
- A bet placed on what will happen at the end of the first half, such as which team leads or if the score is level.
- Hedging
- Placing a second bet on the opposite outcome to secure a profit or minimize a loss after an original bet.
- Kelly Criterion
- A formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet based on your perceived edge and the odds.
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is in progress, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- Moneyline
- A bet that picks the team you think will win the match, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Odds
- The number that shows how much you can win relative to your stake, and indicates how likely a particular outcome is thought to be.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals scored in a match will be higher or lower than a number set by the bookmaker.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links together two or more individual bets and requires all of them to win for the parlay to pay out.
- Point Spread
- A handicap given to the favorite team to level the playing field, making the outcome of the bet more balanced.
- Self-Exclusion
- A tool that allows you to voluntarily block yourself from accessing your betting account for a set period.
- Single Bet
- A straightforward bet on a single outcome, such as one team winning, with no combined selections.
- Stake
- The amount of money you put on a bet.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered by the bookmaker are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving an expected advantage.
